St. Patrick’s Church

Miss Ireland Casey Hughes and Irish Princess Cailey Burrows with pageant Director Kathy Crowell and Assistant pageant Coordinator Patty Strife at St Patrick’s Irish Mass.

The Tom Bowman St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the many wonderful highlights of the North Country Goes Green Irish Festival.  Held each year on Festival Sunday beginning at 1 PM, the parade begins at the corners of Winslow, Paddock and Washington St., and passes the judges stand directly in front of the State Office Building ending at the city parking lot on Clinton St.  Prizes (and bragging rights) are given each year to the best entries.

The Parade is led each year by the color guard from Fort Drum along with Miss Ireland, the Irish Princess and our Grand Marshall.  We are honored to host dignitaries from all around the region as well as representatives from Police, Fire and EMT, musical ensembles, civic organizations, and local businesses.

Get your spot early to watch, the parade route is always packed with people coming out to catch the fun!
